Every cleaner is interviewed, police-checked, trained, and employed directly by us. We do not outsource work to subcontractors or rely on rotating agency staff.

From the founder

ELM Cleaning was built around a simple idea: people should be able to rely on the service coming into their home or workplace.

From the first homes we cleaned, what mattered to clients was consistent: knowing who was coming, knowing when they were coming, and knowing that if something was not right, someone would follow it up properly. What mattered to the cleaners was just as clear: feeling supported, respected, and properly prepared to do their work well. The business has been shaped around both from day one.

Fourteen years on, ELM now supports residential homes, workplaces, NDIS participants, and home care clients across Melbourne. From the company's facility in Braeside, cleaners and support staff are trained, equipped, and supported before arriving at a client's space.

As the company has grown, the approach has remained much the same. The team is employed directly, consistency is prioritised wherever possible, and communication stays clear when things need attention. The focus has always been on building long-term relationships, not only with clients, but with the people who represent ELM in homes and workplaces every day.
